TMAC

TMAC is an SSH based solution offering client, server, and gateway components that enable organizations to track, log, and control the use of SSH across their organization while mitigating the risks associated to using such a versatile tunneling protocol.

System administrators require SSH for remote management of servers, though with every SSH connection that crosses a firewall boundary, the information systems that would normally be protected by said firewall are exposed to the risk of a having a malicious person or program tunnel through the SSH connection and have uncontrolled access to otherwise protected network resources.

The client and server components of the TMAC solution offer detailed logging and the ability to restrict the functionalities of SSH that could introduce risks to networks and information systems. The gateway component of the TMAC solution enables full control over what users or systems will be able to connect via SSH across firewall boundaries and/or out onto the Internet while eliminating and/or mitigating risks associated to the standard - but often unused features of SSH.
